Have you felt that way? You feel like you’re doing all you can, and NOTHING seems to be happening. NOTHING is working out the way you planned. You wonder what it will take to make this business work! You’re either pulling your hair out or contemplating jumping off the business cliff by quitting altogether. After all, if you quit, your life could be SO much easier.
If you quit your business, you are right. You won’t be frustrated with your business any longer. You’ll be frustrated with yourself! Your life WILL be easier, BUT will it be better? If you haven’t experienced these frustrations in your business yet, keep living. It will happen. Bookmark this article so that you have a reference when the time comes. This post will share a few things you can do to work through this tough time.
At the first sign of being frustrated with your business, you need to plug in to your company leadership. You need to call your sponsor or someone in your upline to talk about what’s going on with you and your business. The one thing you DON’T want to do is express those frustrations to your team. That can be poisonous for your whole organization. I like what Tom Hanks said in Saving Private Ryan, ‘Complaints go up, not down’.
When you get frustrated with your business, you need to check your belief! Do you really believe that this thing is possible? Do you believe that this business is possible for YOU? There is a difference in those two questions. If you’re not sure, then the answer is NO. As long as you don’t believe in yourself or abilities, you will be frustrated with your business and you WILL quit at some point. That leads me to my next point.
Personal development will help you with being frustrated with your business. Take note of what’s going in your eyes, ears, and finally your mind! I was on a call last night with Jerry Clark, and he spoke of increasing your frustration quotient. The more mental preparation you have the better your frustration quotient will be. I’ve got to read more on this concept, as I’ve never heard it before… I’ll share more when I find out.
Above all, taking action is the BEST way to combat being frustrated with your business! I don’t care if you don’t see results physically manifesting just yet. I don’t care if you don’t understand why you’re doing something. Follow the process! Jerry Clark also said, ‘Follow the system. When you’re making $20,000 per month, THEN you can do what you want.’ That was a profound statement! If the same process produced so many leaders, what makes you so special that it won’t work for you? Trust the process and FOLLOW IT!
Everybody gets frustrated at some point; however, it’s how you handle it that matters. Will you whine and cower away in defeat? Or, will you buck up and fight?!
